Salentein Numina Chardonnay (13,5 %)

A delicious, approachable Chardonnay from Bodegas Salentein which pairs excellently with white meats like pork and poultry as well as salmon and tuna.

Bodegas Salentein lies in the Argentinian province of Mendoza. It is considered the country's most important wine region. The winery is designed for both form and function in the shape of a cross, allowing for customised gentle handling of the grapes, reducing the distance wine needs to be moved between winemaking steps. The wine is aged in small French barrels made of oak, of 225 litres each. Altogether, these levels house 5.000 barrels. Another characteristic of the cellar is its stone floor. Seen from the superior level, the floor of the central chamber shows an important design, of strong symbolic content: it’s based on the wind rose, with each end oriented towards the cardinal points

The award-winning wines are very fruit-driven, and have no oak ageing. Bright white and red wines of great colour and soft tannins with lots of fruity character.
